A Christ-Centered, Bible Believing Fellowship

Prayer Ministry

"Until now you have not asked for anything in My Name. Ask and you shall receive, that your joy may be full"  John 16:24

We are blessed by the opportunity to bring your prayers of Thanksgiving and Petition before the Throne of Mercy and Grace, knowing Our Lord Jesus Christ hears and answers every prayer in His Perfect and Loving Will, and in His Perfect Time.

We meet regularly for times of intercession and invite you to notify us of your needs by emailing this information, in confidence, to Pastor Bryan at bchurch13@roadrunner.com . There are three ways in which we communicate prayer needs with our assembly. One is by means of our online Prayer Connection. The second is by means of our prayer bulletin that is made available on Tuesday evenings. The third is of course during our Sunday Morning Worship.  You are also welcomed to call the Church directly at 783-3316 Ext. 201.

We also seek to be bringing the many important prayer concerns of our Kingdom Workers before the throne of grace. Due to the need to protect the security of our Kingdom Workers, we are not able to put these requests on our Web Site. However, the SLBC Missions Committee makes available a written Prayer Journal of concerns shared with us by our Missions Family. We encourage all of us to obtain one and prayer through this journal.

In a list of important Christian qualities that we need in our lives’ and thus in the life of a local church family, the Apostle Paul says in Romans 12:12 – 13, that we needs be “continuing steadfastly in prayer, distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.” May the Lord help us to fulfill this stewardship. Thanks for Praying, Pastor!
